Need to make a change to your map?  Here's how to find the map editor to place new units or tweak your current map.

Go to Facility > Site Map and click on in the upper right hand corner of your site map.

Rename units:

Click on the unit and the select "Edit Unit" to adjust the 'Identifier' field to the new unit name.

Change the size of units:

Did you remove a wall to make a unit bigger? You can adjust the size by clicking on the unit and then select "Edit Unit" to adjust the size to the new size.  For example, if you had two 10x10 units, that just became a 10x20 - you can adjust the sizing.  Don't forget to delete the unit that has now been absorbed into the larger unit. If neccessary, adjust the orientation by selecting "Unit Design" and orientation and/or label rotation.

Change the status of a unit:

There may be a variety of reasons to change the status of a unit. Click here to learn more and how to change the status.

Add a unit:

You'll new units in the system before they will become available in the map editor for placement in your facility map.  To learn how to add new units, click here.

Change the icon associated with each unit size:

You can change the icon associated with each unit size, by selecting the size in the 'Size Templates' and select "Choose Icon" to select your icon and click "Save."

Delete a unit:

You may need to do this for a variety of reasons, but generally most facilities don't have to do this very often. If you expanded a unit, you'll need to delete the second unit to ensure that your unit count is correct and that you don't accidentally assign a customer to a unit that isn't available. Click on the unit and then select "Delete Unit." This will remove the unit from your availability.

Adjust rental rates:

Click here for instructions on updating your standard rental rates.

Making custom sized units:

You can change the size of a unit templates or make custom individual units, click here for more details on how.
