Answers
Your assistant reads your account as it is right now. The numbers are the ones you see in Unit Trac, and it can only see the facilities you can see.

Forecast from the leases you have today.
It can also list your facilities, look up any customer, and show a tenant's charges and payments for any dates you name. Prefer a report? They are all still there in Reporting.
Actions
Four jobs your assistant can do for you today. More are on the way.
Read it a stack of checks, cash or money orders, up to 100 at a time, and it records them in one go.
Change, void or delete a charge that should not be there.
Delete a check or cash payment that was entered by mistake. It shows you every charge that would become unpaid first.
Close out a lease and free the unit. The deposit and any open charges are left for you to settle in Unit Trac.
It records payments you have already received. It never charges a card or a bank account. Card payments stay in Payment Processing, where you run them.
The rule
Anything that changes your books happens in two steps. First your assistant shows you exactly what it is about to do. Nothing is saved until you say go.
"Record today's checks."
Before and after for every tenant. Nothing is saved yet.
Then, and only then, it is recorded.
2 minutes later. Six checks posted. No typing, no hunting for leases.

The preview checks out — 6 payments, $627.00. Want me to go ahead and record them?

Permissions
You connect your assistant by signing in to Unit Trac yourself, and you approve the connection on a Unit Trac screen that spells out what it will be able to read and change.
The list is built from that person's own permissions.
Your sign-in, your rules. It follows your role and the facilities you are allowed to see. An employee who cannot delete a payment in Unit Trac cannot do it through an assistant either.
It asks. You approve. The approval screen lists exactly what it will be able to do. Choose Deny and nothing is connected.
No passwords handed over.Your assistant never sees your Unit Trac password. Two-step sign-in still applies.
It never sees card numbers.Saved cards and bank accounts stay out of reach.
Off when you say so.Remove Unit Trac from your assistant, or ask us to switch it off. Once it is switched off, access ends on the very next request.
Each question and each change is logged with the time, what was asked for, and whether it was a preview or the real thing. Changes show up in your Activity History under your own name, exactly as if you had made them in Unit Trac.

Questions
Claude and ChatGPT, and any other assistant that can connect to an MCP server. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard assistants use to work with other software.
No. We built a secure connection so the assistant you already use can work with your Unit Trac account.
No. It can record payments you have already received by check, cash or money order. It cannot charge a saved card or bank account, and it cannot delete a card or bank payment.
Yes. Each person connects with their own Unit Trac sign-in and gets exactly the access their role gives them, limited to the facilities they are allowed to see.
Every change is previewed before it is saved, so you see the before and after and can say no. Every request is logged, and changes appear in your Activity History.
Remove Unit Trac from your assistant, or ask us to switch it off for your login. Once it is switched off, access ends on the very next request. Changing someone's role, or removing them from the business, takes effect just as quickly.
Unit Trac sends your assistant only what it asks for while you are using it. What your assistant's provider does with that is covered by your agreement with them.
Today it answers questions and handles the four jobs above. Ask it for something it cannot do and it can pass your request to our product team. For anything else, our Dedicated Support team is here.
Nothing extra. The connection is included in your Unit Trac price. The assistant itself comes from its own provider, on whatever plan you have with them.
Sign up, or try it on a demo account with sample data.
