What absorbing it means
Renters pay the posted rent and nothing more. You cover 2.9% + $1.00 per card charge (1.9% + $1.00 for ACH). Simple, and nothing to explain at the counter.
What passing it along means
Your renters cover the processing cost through a fee you set. Your software bill can come out to nothing, but a few things are worth thinking through first:

Your price is $0.70 per unit per month. If that comes to less than $30 (under 43 units), you pay $30. Above that, you pay exactly per unit.
No. You pay your first month’s software fee and nothing else to get started. Personal support is included.
Card payments are 2.9% + $1.00 per charge. ACH is 1.9% + $1.00 per charge and is available in the USA only. You can absorb these fees or pass them along to your renters.
Yes. A facility website and customer portal come with every account. Premium Website & SEO is an optional $50 per website per month.
